THE EVENT

“Heart to Heart” is a live performance of romantic songs designed to warm your heart. The show will be presented for One Night Only, Valentine’s Day, Friday, February 14, 7:30 pm at ARTIST SANCTUARY OF FORT LAUDERDALE, 1303 SW 1st Ave. 33315. Tickets are $25 available through EventBrite.com.

THE PERFORMERS

Singer and actress Paulette Dozier, recognized for her sultry alto voice, is returning to the South Florida stage after a generous hiatus since 2020. The presence of this jazz stylist at ARTIST SANCTUARY is a rare opportunity for Fort Lauderdale and we are pleased to bring her showmanship to our stage. Pianist, Kris Nicholson, has performed in this intimate black box on many occasions and will accompany Dozier for her performance. Also, introducing newcomer, Egor Nikiforov, who will wet his reed showcasing his talents on the saxophone.

THE SHOW

“What the world needs now is Love Sweet Love,” sentimental lyrics by Hal David and Burt Bacharach, perhaps truer today than when first hitting the charts 60 years ago. “Heart to Heart” responds to those lyrics. This is a special Valentine’s Day event presented in an intimate setting for listening to and being inspired by romantic music. During the show you'll be immersed in the quaint New York vibe that is ARTIST SANCTUARY of Fort Lauderdale. And during intermission, you can browse around the priceless exhibit of Hollywood and Broadway memorabilia with curator and tour guide, Bob Nation.
